CMMS / PM Program

AZ Tech specializes in Plant Preventive Maintenance (PM) programs in manual as well as computerized (CMMS) formats as per customer needs.

To facilitate / guide in implementation of a comprehensive and fully functional computerized preventive maintenance program.

 

The PM program is designed as follows:

 

  • Identify equipment for the PM program
  • Set-up tasks, frequency and checklists
  • Develop a manual schedule for PM with time, spares, labor, etc.
  • Discuss with Operations and Maintenance staff and agree on format
  • Present program and get buy-off from all internal-customers
  • Develop modules for work orders, spare parts, history, failure analysis, labor resources and purchasing
  • Implement and monitor the progress by area-wise in stages
  • Audit and review PM effectiveness using MTBF, cost, downtime and overall achievements

CMMS/PM Programs Implemented

 

 Lear Corporation MP2 Datastream, Mississauga Plant

PM implemented on 220 pieces of plant equipment including facilities section for spares inventory, work orders, history and failure analysis. PM related direct breakdowns were reduced by 20 %.

 

 iFire Technology Inc Faciliworks, PMS, Toronto Plant

PM implemented on 88 pieces of equipment with spares, purchasing, work orders. Saved $100,000 per annum in ordering with optimized levels of stock.

 

SABIC MIMIC systems SA-Mobil Project

Implemented PM, spares, work orders and manpower modules with Mobil USA IT support. 550 Equipment including Utilities and combined spares with savings in excess of $250,000 per annum for first 4 years.

 
ICI UK MMS
Used clipper version. A total of 125 pieces of equipment were covered. Work order system & downtime (DT) was compiled. Reduced the DT from 18 to 12 %.
